Credentialing/Hiring Protocols

Under the leadership of the corporate Director of Human Resources the Branch Manager and branch staff are assigned to recruit, train and evaluate personnel to ensure that only individuals with regulatory credentials and health requirements are employed. Each new employee with acceptable references must successfully complete the required tests, skills assessment and be medically cleared, and oriented according to their job description. 

The NYS Department of Health requires that all field staff undergo a Criminal History Record Check using fingerprints of the applicant that are collected at a NYS DOH designated site. 

Unlimited Care recognizes the importance of Patient’s Cultural Considerations and Patient’s Rights as well as training programs that teach staff how to provide effective communication and respect for the cultural and personal values, beliefs and preferences of each patient we care for All Unlimited Care staff are required to respect and accommodate the individual’s cultural, religious and spiritual practices. Unlimited Care has alternative communication methods for individuals who speak and/or read languages other than English, individuals who have visual and hearing impairments and for individuals who have cognitive impairments.

The company’s integrated electronic platform provides system capacity needs and meets all federal and state privacy and security regulations and standards. Additionally, the company has extensive Cyber Security Policies which provide the framework for protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data and systems while ensuring effective internal security controls company wide.
